As many of our readers and contributors will be aware, the General Election on May 7th is approaching and the UK civil service is now going into purdah.
Purdah is the several weeks before an election when the essential business of government continues, but announcements and policy development stop, to avoid giving political advantage to any side. During this period of time, the Transparency Team will be inactive on our digital channels and social media. So there won’t be any new posts here on the blog, the team Twitter and our individual professional Twitters will be quiet, and we won’t be posting anything on scoop.it.
