New site changes

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: Uncategorized

Over the last couple of weeks we have continued enhancing the usability of data.gov.uk, based on the feedback you have been sending us. In particular you can now view the range of datasets available on the site (now over 3,000) via a tag cloud at data.gov.uk/data; allowing you to quickly see the variety of subject areas available.

We are now also including the 'National Statistics' Quality Mark on relevant datasets like the UK Defence Statistics factsheet. The Quality Mark indicates that the statistics have been produced in accordance with the Code of Practice for Official Statistics, and is regulated by law. Further details can be found on the UK Statistics Authority’s site.

Lots of people have also been asking us about how to write SPARQL queries; a number of tutorials are now available. If you have come across any useful links you think we should include, or anything else, please contact us.
